It's worth vistiing Khasab castle, because as well as the fortifications and tower, you can see an exhibition about tradtional life and nature in Musandam (which is different in many ways from the rest of Oman). There are also several boats in the courtyard, and...More

An excellent location. Small but very well restored. Information in English and Arabic. A great way to start to understand this part of Oman - a must do trip in the town

I went here on my way home from a trip to Khasab. Well presented castle that has some great displays of historic artefacts. Not a huge place but well worth a visit

Its a small museum but nicely done. The castle is well preserved and the views are beautiful from the castle wall.

You will probably enjoy if it is the first one you have seen in the region otherwise it will be a little boring. If you have nothing else to do and there is not much around apart from swimming or camping, then go for it.
