This is a beautiful park on the East River. The lawns are quite large for picnics or playing outdoor games. Stunning views of Manhattan.

I find it spatially-thrilling to stand underneath the lofty vaults of a bridge, so this park - which spans the northern-Astoria waterfront between/around the Triboro(/RFK) bridge and the beautiful Hell Gate Bridge - is one of my favorites in the city. By no means a...More

This park is really nice, with a walkway across the street up against the East River, it is pretty long and has lots of greenery, go during a weekend with the family during warmer weather for a picnic

I gave this parkmthe nickname in the title after my daughter, SIL, and grandson moved to Astoria in fall 2017. Lovely walking paths, a good playground for young children. But, as I explored, I discovered tennis courts, a gauge swim, no pool complex, fitness paths...More

His crowning achievement...More

Nice local park, by the river, with a nice view of Manhattan, not crowded. Part of it is under the Triboro Bridge, which has huge archs, so it's nice. It has a public pool open in the summer, free.
