Beautiful bay with clear waters and safe, easy snorkelling. Plenty of fish to sea but some obvious coral damage caused by the local boats who moor here overnight. They tend to come into the bay at speed, late afternoon, so stick closer to the rocks if you're swimming or snorkelling then.

This is a great little bay for snorkelling in and really handy if your staying at Kou Bugny hotel as it's just across the road on the other side of Kuto Bay. It can be open to a little bit of wind on some days. The water is really clear though and we went snorkelling here around the rocks which... More

Absolutely stunning with crystal clear waters and beautiful white sands. The coral reefs are nice and close offering awesome snorkeling opportunities. We managed to see a turtle swimming almost every day also. The hotel we stayed in (Oure Tera) is based in this bay so we made the most of this awesome place everyday.

The beach was full of areas where privacy was available. The snorkelling was so clear and there were fish and coral to see.

We arrived here off our Cruise ship and were welcomed with open arms by the locals. They had live music and plenty of options for market items and tours around the island if we wanted to. Prices were very reasonable- much more reasonable than cruise prices. We found a perfect spot on the beach in Kanumera Bay- a small walk... More

This was the first stop on our Carnival cruise. When we got off, we walked around the stalls that the locals have set up. We had fresh lobster, fresh coconut and bought some small souvenirs . We paid $15/set of snorkels and walked along the beach, over to the big rock. Now, to get to the rock, the water is... More

Gorgeous setting and calm snorkelling. Best beach if you go to to isle des pins on a day trip. Nicest coral and fish we saw on the island.

After getting off our Cruise Ship tender and being welcomed by the locals we walked a short picturesque path to Kanumera Bay to do some snorkelling in the bay. Beautiful swimming, just lazing in the water on a very hot day watching small fish swim past. We then went snorkelling around the small reefs next the sacred island and saw... More

Beautiful Bay with incredible snorkeling and fish life. Avoid the crowds if you arrive on a Cruise Line, and take the walk around to the Oure Tera Resort as the beach is far less crowded and the snorkeling is far superior.
