Long and very clean beach. Good for relaxing in the sand. A couple of bars can be found on the beach.

Well we came in January so we did not swim but the water was mild enough to walk through and some brave people were swimming. There are many restaurants along the beach that you can pay to sit on their loungers to lay in the...More

Nice long stretches of white sandy beach. Some restaurants etc. along here where you eat, drink and watch the ocean. Also looked like a popular spot for Kite Surfing.

My husband and friends and I visited this beach so many times. As friends, to sit and talk, hang out, just take a long walk, for exercise and peace and quiet. There are activities like camel or horse back riding, swimming, and riding quad bikes....More

My wife and I went for a long walk, that started, from the Port of Essaouira to Borj Albarood, on this beautiful wide sandy beach. We enjoyed the sound of the waves, and the gorgeous sunset, we watched from the promenade. I would recommend this...More

Nothing more to say. It's a very personal experience. The Atlantic is powerful and beautiful in Essaouira. It is still very windy in April. Nice restaurants for all tastes and prices alongside the shore. Camel riders welcome.

Great wide sandy beach for walking, camel and horse rides, kite flying, 4x4 rentals. Windy, however, so we didn't linger on the beach. Cold for swimming in December.

As an Asian, we seldom go beach in Winter. We stayed in Essaouira for 2 days. The sunrise there are unforgettable. The reflection of sky was just gorgeous. Most of tourists left before the sunset, as it’s getting cold. It’s actually very nice to stay...More

The beach is lovely. It was not very crowded when I visited but that was on a Thursday. The water was chilly in December and lots of peddlers were around. However most peddlers left you alone rather quickly when you made it clear you weren’t...More
