Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Highly recommended to be a `must visit place'' when you are in Kuala Tengannu. Suggest to visit around 4pm so that it is not too hot. there is a scheduled cruise tour that you can take to tour about the park. Don't miss the theaters & museum underneath some of the mosques where you can learn more about the histories of them.

This was built during the premier tenure of Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, the 5th Malaysian Prime Minister, affectionately remembered as the most Islamic-concerned prime minister up to that point in time. Malaysia was also the Chairman of the OIC (Organisation of Islamic Cooperation) while under his governance and hence, this park just had to happen.
The miniatures:
Taj Mahal, Agra, India
Al-Masjid al-Nabawi, Medina, Saudi Arabia
Masjid al-Haram, Mecca, Saudi Arabia
Dome of the Rock, Jerusalem, Palestine
Qolsharif Mosque, Kazan, Tatarstan, Russia
Masjid Negara, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Masjid Menara Kudus, Kudus, Indonesia
Great Mosque of Xi'an, Xi'an, China
Great Mosque of Samarra, Samarra, Iraq
Pattani Mosque, Pattani Province, Thailand
Al-Hambra Mosque, Granada, Spain
Aleppo Citadel, Aleppo, Syria
Sultan Mosque, Singapore
Badshahi Mosque, Lahore, Pakistan
Silang the great garden of China
Kalyan Minaret, Bukhara, Uzbekistan
Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque, Isfahan, Iran
Once you get the passport, just hop on the mini train and they are frequent. Only 3-4 minutes tops for each one to come pick you up wherever you happen to be at. Everything was as how they should be up to the floating rock at the mini Dome of the Rock. You will be amazed.
The only thing that saddened me was that the paint on some of the monuments had started to fade. They should seriously tend to this before it gets worse. I am screaming as I say this.
Also, the video shows in the mini auditoriums were all in Malay but with English subtitles of course. With some careful revamping efforts, I'm sure they can come up with some multi language audios on free earphones. At least they should have one in Arabic because it is after all an Islamic attraction.
You get RM2 food voucher and another one for souvenirs. The chicken rice was quite expensive but I guess they're not targeting the locals with that. Worth a try if you don't mind trying a staple Malaysian delicacy right by the river, or rather, estuary and along with all the view. The ice kacang was delicious with ice-cream toppings.
I didn't go to the crystal mosque however but I'm planning on going there the next time I'm in Terengganu. You don't need to pay any entrance fee over there as it's outside the park.

If you're in Kuala Terengganu, this is a must-visit. It is opened to all including the non Muslims.
My visit was early in the afternoon on Saturday and it was nice walking around in the quiet park, admiring the replicas of famous Islamic buildings and monuments.
I was so thrilled to see inside the Crystal Mosque and to see the Mosque from the river view (on the river cruise which took you about an hour ride) .. and the miniature of the great mosques all over the world.. very educative! It feels like a mosque tour around the world in just one day! You even get to see some videos on these mosques in the showrooms situated next to some of these miniatures. Some of these miniatures seems in bad conditions and like being abandoned and hopefully the Management of the Park will take the extreme measures.
Food, toilet and souvenir are available inside the Park. You can rent a bicycle to go around the park too. You will be given a food voucher and souvenir voucher along with the Passport into the Park once you buy the ticket to get into the Mosque miniatures park.

The Islamic Heritage Park, located in Terengganu. Until now, I am still amazed with the whole idea of having this park in Kuala Terengganu. I am not a muslim, but I found this place is so amazing with many many mosques around the world. It makes me feel like visiting the actual mosque one day.

Basically, this is the Islamic Fun park...or a Small World of Mosques from around the Islamic Countries. At weekends there are rides, bikes...enough to keep the youngsters amused. Not that exciting from 10y/old above (I.M.H.O)
About 20 different mosques shrunk,to scale on about 10 acres of land next to the Crystal Mosque. The weather had belted a few around, but, in essence, this was well worth the 20RM Adult entry fee. Some had displays underneath the various Mini Mosques, with theatres giving historical short movies about the particular mosque, plus displays of artifacts. As non Muslims, we learned a lot, and enjoyed the experience.

I don't think there's anywhere in the world you can visit a place like this. It's a park full of miniature mosques replicas from all over the world. I did get quite a few stares and was asked to take pictures with some people, I guess they are not used to (non moslim) tourists.

During our visit last 2 weeks, the crystal mosque was closed for maintenance. So, we performed our prayer at the temporary prayer rooms. Overall, I was not impressed with the surroundings. The landscape should be much greener and fresher. The surroundings should be cleaner. The toilet and ablution area are clean, but the floor is very slippery and very dangerous to wear slippers in that area.
I did not visit the Taman Tamadun Islam as it was closed for Hari Raya public holiday. Please bring an umbrella or wear a cap during the daytime. It's very hot

We are underestimate this Tamadun Islam Park. We thought it is just a simple monumen that represents all popular mosque all over the world. It is good for family to learn the history together and we can also rent a 4 cycling bikes at RM48 per hour. It was fun! They also got mini cars for those who cannot walk so far, and to save time. When come to Kuala Terengganu, u must come to this place. Learn history, be a learner.
