This was a bit boring (and smoky) for two kids 5 and 7, and views are no different than you get driving Wong local highways. No real height or vistas.

Any day on a train is a good day... But this railroad had Terrible accommodations. Bathrooms filthy. No narration on excursion. No special consideration for child traveling in wheelchair. No snacks available on or off train. The good news the views were beautiful.

This train ride was so beautiful, peaceful and nostalgic!! The views were breathtaking!!! Would definitely recommend this fall foliage train ride!!

About 1 1/2 to 2hrours,including a stop in Roxbury, the half-way point.
