Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Pit boxes have plenty of UK Type G 3pin square plug power sockets, are spacious and the whole layout is pretty stunning. The riders enjoyed the track. There is free wifi in and around the press suite. The downside of this is that everything is F1 priced. If you knew where there was a table shop you'd buy one rather than rent one from the circuit! Price for an airconditioned room was astronomical so they all just stood empty. I can only assume that the circuit totally misjudged the budgets that endurance teams run at in comparison to WSB, Moto-GP, F1, etc. However, it's one of the most scenic circuits in the world without a doubt. The track itself dries really badly and is still completely wet when everything else has dried. The staff are all super friendly but the variety on offer in the rather swanky buffet restaurant is minimal. 2 choices and a bit of salad, that's about it. But for all the moans you just can't rate this circuit as anything other than 5 spots!

Sepang International Circuit for MotoGP is in my view the best circuit to watch the MotoGP at. 1st tip get premium seats, they are the best and have the best access. You get the full experience of the MotoGP. VIP seats are overrated. Also, get a free pit walk on a Friday afternoon. Tip No.2 Try and make sure you have a ride back home as it gets mad on a Sunday. Tip No.3 Bring walking shoes and come light. The reason I say best track is if you set opposite start, and finish as well as Pit garages for the rides and the Podium, you can see all the way down the straight, as well as two corners and the making corners directly behind you.

Visited Malaysia for 8 nights/ 9 days, primarily for 3 days action for MotoGP. First day was a roaming ticket which was good, you could check out lots of other grandstands and viewpoints. The Sat / Sun was with a paddock pass, this was excellent, very much worth the money especially with the heat and humidity.
The food, drinks, service and air conditioning was all very good.
The only negative was getting to/from the track. It seemed to be quite disorganised with bus and train services. Even at the local train stations etc, staff didnt really have much of a clue and at times a big language barrier.
Traffic on the Sunday was horrendous, took over 2hrs to get to the track... this needs to be managed better for future races.

This review is of the Night Track Tour.
Was part of a group. We each paid approx AUD $170 per person for a dinner at a restaurant on track, present, and a track tour on a bus.
Started with vague descriptions on where to go and when. Security guards tried to deny us access to the tunnel we were supposed to meet at, but eventually let us through.
Went to the area that the restaurant was located. No one knew anything there either, but kept trying to call people to see if anyone knew anything about the tickets we paid so much for. After nearly an hour of standing in the heat, someone showed up with the present were were promised. A hat in a bag.
We asked if we can walk pit lane, but was told to wait for another tour to finish their walk. Another 30 min later we did the walk to see 2 semi open workshops and a lot of roller doors closed. Oh well, off to the dining room for our dinner.
That was below poor as an offering for a dining room.
Some left over seafood ball pasta, not enough for 2 people left in the server, some undescribed sandwich fingers (not many on display), some very small cake slices and some sliced fruit. Everything else had gone by the time my group got to the dining room, but no one seemed in a rush to get any more food to the table. About 20 min later some warm nibbles arrived and the table was re-stocked so photos could be taken. Disgraceful offering for the price and build-up. Attached is a picture of the best meal any of our group got.
The track tour on the bus was the highlight, but not worth the money we paid sadly.
Just to top the experience off, the bus gave us all a lift to a bus stop out of the track. Sounded good until the bus got stuck on low overhead wires and had to use a broom to get us untangled. That pretty much summed up the night and was a fitting finish.

I did the circuit tour they offer just after New Year's and I would surely recommend this tour. The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and will do everything that you will get the best tour you can get. I was picked up at the track because I was in the wrong spot and we stopped at various stops as long as we wanted. We had a looked at the main grandstand, the grandstand in turn 1, the big suite, race control, media center, track office, and the podium. Super relaxed and chill atmosphere and you get to see many cool things. We also stopped at the karting track and raced for a bit. I would definitely recommend this tour!

I’ve been coming to this track now for 10 years. What can I say lovely people that are friendly. The crowds are enormous especially on race day however they are always polite and respectful. Viewing points are great and ammenities are clean. I will definitely be back again! The only thing I don’t like is the intense heat which can be overwhelming drink lots of water.

This is I think my sixth time attending the motogp at sepang.
The circuit is brilliant great views and extremely friendly atmosphere. The downside is the extreme heat and humidity and massive crowds, the Malaysian people are very friendly and the prices for food, drink and t shirts are very reasonable. I hope to be back next year.

While the course is not used for F1 at the present time, our tour guide, Nik, did an outstanding job! She personally took us everywhere on the course. Her details were wonderful. We live in hometown of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and now we want a tour just like Nik gave us. Such a great tour. Thank you Nik!

Only can reach via highway, you need to hire a cab or rent a car in order to come here. Need to pay for parking. Disappointed that we cannot go inside the circuit to see, marathon only happened at outside. We only can use the toilet, the male toilet has many urine bowls (really, many), but only few bathrooms which are unable to cope with marathon event.

5th time now at this track and nothing has changed I love it. I have been to tracks all over Europe and this is still my favourite. It is well run with great access from the centre of kl.
It’s also great value for money with good viewing. It’s very hot and humid and gets crowded but this is Asia.
I will be back next year!

Hello All, I want to ask how to go to Sepang International Circuit from KL Sentral and vice versa? Is there any possible bus? This is for MotoGP 2022
Written 17 September 2022
Hi, does anyone know that if I have to buy tickets for a Sepang circuit for a short visit? Or is it opened for a walk-in when there are no events there? Thx for your answers in advance!
Written 6 December 2019
If there isn't an event, you generally can't get into the Circuit, but you should be able to get to the admin offices/shop. If there isn't an event, it's not worth the trip....

Hi, we are going to Moto GP, staying at Majestic Hotel in KL. What is the best way to get to and from track?
Written 21 October 2019
I myself am not going but I do believe there are busses from k.l. Sentral for the 3 days directly to the track. If it works the same as when the g.p. was there they be a stall inside the station.
Is your hotel anywhere the monorail. The stop for the Monorail is right across the street from the station, by walking through a big shopping mall. I just got this notice now, so I imagine you are already there.
Have a great time.

I am contemplating going this nov.
I am bit concerned about the free for all seating, seems it could be quite dangerous with people climbing all over each other, if the rossi stand is sold out they still let people in who have roaming tickets, I have several options club south or getting a handicap pass as I have some mobility issues. Although I would prefer not use these options, what are the opinions of people who have attended this event.
Thank you.
Written 27 May 2019
Hi, In my opinion the stands away from the main Grandstands will prove difficult for handicapped persons.Motor GP has always been popular in Sepang and most years the grandstands are sold out. I think if you contact Amiel Junita of Marketing & Communications and ask for details on viewing areas for handicapped fans you'll get your answers. I'll make sure that she's aware that you'll be in touch. She's reacheable at: +6012 3825669....
If you need further help pls leave another message and I'll try my best.
Regards,
Gary.

Hi! Next year, I'll be coming to see the MotoGP events. Full weekend from Friday to Sunday. We're 3 people. If we stayed near Salak Tinggi station, Is it a good idea take the train from that station to KL airport? Then from the airport, shuttle bus to the circuit. Explain in detail please along with travel expenses to and fro. How much RM would it cost for a person for a day excluding food expenses? only travel expenses. Timings of the shuttle bus? And what is the time of first shuttle bus from airport? Explain in detail please. Thank you..

From salak tinggi, You can take klia transit (train) to klia/klia2. It costs RM4,9. Then take bus from klia/klia2 to sepang circuit. It costs RM12. Train from salak tinggi to klia/klia 2 departs every 30 min or 15 min in peak hours, starts from 5 AM... but sorry, i can't tell the schedule of the bus. You'll spend around RM35 for return trip.
