I highly recommend doing the treks in the end of afternoon and beginning of evening, as the sounds of the forest are just amazing at that moment. We saw a big reptile on the way back. Take a lamp with you !

Hi There Sorry for the late reply. Yeah it is. The guides take you out at night, so I'd definitely do it alone. If you're worried, you can stay in Kuching and catch an Uber in and out ... It's only about $20.00
