Rather than travelling to Bako National park we decided to come here to Kubah National Park. We did the waterfall trail - it was a lovely walk and not too strenuous. When we visited it was very quiet and almost had the entire trail to ourselves. Would highly recommend.

We went to Kubah national park by local bus from Kuching that took us around 45-50 minutes to get there, payed 20 myr for he entrance fee and it absolutely worth it! It is a real authentic rainforest with spectacular waterfalls. There are many tracking roads in the forest so if you go by bus, it is worth to go... More

Visited here two weeks ago exactly on my birthday. Enjoyed the fantastic nature. Recommended to those who love nature, seek challenges and thrills, and enjoy hiking. I will definitely come again.

Firstly, I'd just like to start by saying you'd do yourself a favour by taking these negative reviews with a grain of salt! These types should stick to shopping Malls and beach front Resorts in my opinion. This is a National Park and as such, has the type of forest trails typical of mountainous regions, albeit a little on the... More

I have been to Kubah three times now. It has great, if not a bit strenuous jungle walks. But the best thing is the night walks for the frogs. This is one of those spots full of amazing frog species. Get a guide and do the frog night walk, you will not be sorry. One night we got 20 species!... More

My partner wanted to take me to the beautiful waterfall in the park. He had been there as a teenager and remembered it fondly. What he didn't remember was the steep, thousand foot climb almost straight up a paved road. Luckily it was raining or it would have been too hot. We were both exhausted when we reached the beginning... More

Went for what was described as a gentle trek to a waterfall. Was certainly a trek, with some decent stints of climbing, and some areas where footing was less secure. We loved it, but are pretty fit people in our 30s used to hiking. This isn't a trek for anyone who isn't sure on their feet. The waterfall was stunning... More

We stayed for two nights in Kubah in the self catering accommodation. The staff were helpful in ensuring you were oriented to use the self guided trails. One thing to note that the trail distances and timings were from their start point on main road, not the park hq entrance, hence some of the walks can take longer depending on... More

Highly recommend the night time frog walk. The guides were fantastic, knowledgable and friendly. We saw at least 8 different species in one night. Great accommodation and services too.

I went during the rainy season and although we had heavy rain for over an hour during the walk the jungle showed its charm. We did the white and blue trail upto the waterfall and - due to teh rainy season the waterfall was at least twice as large and a shower was the best thing after a hilly jungle... More
