Great place for hiking. Waterfall trail was through a beautiful forest. Loved the greens and browns and blue sky in the backdrop. Reminds me of the forest in lord of the rings. Quite a bit of ups and downs. Definitely for the physically abled. But...More

This is proper jungle. The walk to the waterfall is pretty taxing, but we did have our kids with us. The waterfall at the end is well worth is. Stunning

Enjoyed trips to Kubah National Park especially waterfall trail. Short period of time for jungle trekking, got the chance to see the stunning waterfall, swimming and had waterfall massage. A great gateway for group gathering and picnic. * P/S: Leeches usually appear when raining or...More

Leave the concrete jungle, come to natural jungle. Just half an hour drive from Kuching City, about 1.5km walk to a waterfall and enjoy the beauty of nature. Bring along water and some snacks.

Did the blue trail leading to the waterfall. Worth the hike as the waterfall was fantastic. Should have brought some food for a picnic there. The hike was not difficult comparing to Mt Santubong or Bako. The trail was well marked.

There are a few trails; personally the best is the Waterfall and Summit trails. You need to be reasonably fit to go tracking along these trails. For those who has not experienced jungle tracking, and seeing the wonders of the virgin tropical jungle, this will...More

Kubah national park is less than one hour away from Kuching (we rented a car). At the visitor center, you need to register and pay 20RM (for foreigners) entrance fee. Close to the visitor center are toilets but we did not see any any eateries....More

For some, the following names vaguely refer to (more or less) the same place: Kubah National Park, Matang Wildlife Centre, Sarawak Wildlife Rehabilitation Sanctuary Centre. Don't be confused when you hear some locals who simply refer to the place as "Matang orang utan centre/park". By...More

Hi There Sorry for the late reply. Yeah it is. The guides take you out at night, so I'd definitely do it alone. If you're worried, you can stay in Kuching and catch an Uber in and out ... It's only about $20.00
