Closed for renovation.

Came down here for the panoramic view but security guard informed it is closed for renovation. The tower looks decent. Disappointed not be able to go to the top.

I have always love this place until I went there a few months back when they had this steamboat operator to open their business. Normally I will go there to view the city but I was told that I need to pay RM5 to get through the so called restaurant. Horrible experience with that particular restaurant.

If you are lucky enough to get there when it is open, the views from the top are great. That aside, the whole building needs good refurbishment and lots of paint.

Take a lift to the top floor where there is an auditorium to watch a short 3D film of space, beginning of mankind and etc. Pay for the ticket first. Talk a walk around the tower to see the view of Kuching City. Time for we-fie, selfie and you-fie...

Used to go to this place when I was still in my primary school, as my school situated just walks away. One of very unique building in Kuching, it has the umbrella shaped on top, where you can have a panoramic view of Kuching city. The planetarium was very interesting place, although I think they could add more to attract... More

I am not sure about now but I once went up to the top of the building and had a pleasant and nice view of Kuching city. I was amazed by the view. The Kuching Civic Centre for all I know hosts different activities over a year. But, on Friday and Saturday nights, there is something like a market going... More

As far as i can tell, this building is closed except maybe the gym. I had a long walk around and the shops and lifts (to the tower) looked derelict or at least is a state of disrepair. The umbrella like roof is architecturally interestingly in the shape of a flower. Unless the centre is open, there's no reason to... More

The place was deserted when I wandered to the tower. The foodcourts close by were closed. The main buildings were worth a photo, but I didn't attempt entry. Picking my way over construction rubbish and ignoring the signs telling me to stay away, I eventually found a lift, or elevator that let me get in and press the button with... More

While there are also other facilities at the Kuching Civic Centre, a visit to the tower would be the most special as this is the place to go to see Kuching from the top. It might not be the tallest structure in the city, but it is the longest standing one, and if I am not mistaken, the only one... More

This attraction is still closed. Have asked the guard in the area and he said that it will only be re-open after the contractors have been paid and renovation done to the place. Otherwise, I do enjoy the panoramic views of the Kuching city from the top of the observatory area when it was opened over the years. The place... More
