There was a small group of us. We did the Wetland Wildlife cruise with Ooo Haa Tours. We had good long sightings of proboscis monkeys, Irrawaddy dolphins, fireflys and the red eyes of a few crocodile on the way out once it got dark. We also stopped for dinner while floating in the boat at dust listening to the songs... More

My girlfriend and I did the evening tour of Kuching Wetlands National Park. I was initially excited at the prospect of seeing my first wild crocodile, so for me the was a “must see”. We set out via boat with a friendly guide to spot wildlife. Right off the bat, we were rewarded with a somewhat uncommon sighting of 2... More

We booked with CPH Tours at a cost of MYR 175 each which is quite expensive but a little cheaper than other operators. But it was an excellent trip - we took to the water at 1700hrs and docked again after three hours. I guess we were fortunate. The weather was good, we saw crocodiles, river dolphins, proboscis and other... More

My 15 yr old son and I really enjoyed this. My wife and our 6 month old had mixed experience due to bumpy ride and weather. We did the evening cruise (1700 departure) at tail end of wet season. We had good long sightings of proboscis monkeys, some fleeting glimpses of the dorsal fins of Irrawaddy dolphins, really interesting floating... More

This was my first trip to Kuching and it’s a short business visit. I had only half a day to go around (evening) and I wanted to make sure I chose the right place. After going through various attraction places in Trip Advisor, I finally decided to visit Kuching Wetlands National Park. We drove to Santubong Jetty and met with... More

Not seeing any crocodile was disappointed (tide was high) but we saw many dolphins that made the visit worthy. Do no expect to take great photos as they came out the water and disappear so fast that you will not have the chance to get a good one. Just enjoy the fact they can show anywhere and you must guess... More

Based on recommendations from other travelers we met in Kuching, we booked this tour through Borneo Experiences. The wetlands are about 30 mins drive from Kuching, we driven by Denise, a lovely lady. She dropped us by a jetty, where her husband, Ajat was waiting. He was the owner/driver/tour guide of a nice big boat. There were only 4 of... More

We booked this trip because we were hoping to see some real wildlife. They advised us to take the evening tour rather then the morning one(which is slightly cheaper) We were picked from the hotel and taken to the boat-jetty where we waited half an hoir for our boat to arrive, which is no problem but it would have been... I really enjoyed trekking through this National Park, only stayed for the day so did a shorter route but very much enjoyed it. I made my own way to the Bako Jetty (you can do so by either Bus or Taxi) from Kuching and found a few other travellers along with a tour guide there who showed us around on... More
