Joseph is a super friendly and excellent cooking host. The class was interesting and fun and with Joseph's full support and immaculate organisation, we made the most delicious special dinner to eat at the end of the afternoon. I highly recommend this to anyone who is a whiz in the kitchen or to those who can only just about boil... More

Thank you for a lovely experience and opportunity to discover Sarawak cooking Great experience visiting the local market and seeing all the produce. Easy to follow guidance on the cooking and left with a good knowledge of how to cook the food.

This class is ok if the only thing you can cook is steak & chips. The visit to the market could be better if Joseph gave you taste testing a of the different vegetables and fruits on offer. Instead he just points at items and names them and I felt like he was rushing us through to get out of... More

We had a really nice and tasty time with Joseph. 1st we went to the market and he told us about How to choose products and what is their origin. Then back in the Chinatown we prepared three dishes basing on local receipes. In the end we had opportunity to devour selfmade food which was really nice. Joseph is really... More

Food is a great way to experience a culture, and nowhere more so that in Malaysia. The class began by marinating chicken and then a trip to the local market where I was talked through a huge amount of raw ingredients. We purchased everything we needed for the three courses and returned to continue cooking. After cooking three dishes, it... More

We went with a group of 7 girls to the Bumbu Cooking Class and it was a great experience. We first went to the market where Joseph explained a lot about the local fruits and vegetables. Afterwards we started cooking, which took a bit of time but was definitely worth it. Joseph was an excellent teacher/host We recommend this class!
