This place has a panoramic view of KK city. Has a little cafe for you to hang around. We took the hiking trail which is about 15 minutes long. Pretty easy to get Uber to get back to town if you’re lazy to hike down.

We walked up to the Signal Hill area, hot and sticky but we did see a monkey along the way, the view is good of Kota and this walk is also connected to the Heritage walk around the city, which is free.

If you want to see the city center at a glance including the nearby islands, this is the place to go. Get a map of the city and find your bearings at this point.

Would recommend walking up to Signal Hill instead of driving. There's a great track on the side of the hill that takes you up to the Observatory platform. Easy walk with stairs but gives you a sense of being out in the bush instead of...More
