Stayed here in Hill Lodge for 3 nights. Loved my lodge ( number 1) with a little balcony and the room was very comfortable. I liked both restaurants but although the buffet restaurant was nice I wasn't going to get the value from it so tended to order a main from the A La Carte Restaurant. Breakfast at the buffet... We were due to visit this Mountain National Park 6 years ago but I stupidly got lost in rainforest so trip had to be cancelled. The weather was fine for our trip from the cruise ship with very good views en route to about 5000 feet where Park entrance is. Fair roads. Our main interest was the Botanical Garden which... More

The fee entrance known as conservation fee is MYR 3 for adult. Upon passing the gate with your car, u can immediately turn left of the one way road and go to Botanical Garden located inside. The entrance fee for the garden is MYR 4 for adult. Watch out for slippery steps on wet day as most of the garden... More

Expect to walk up and down the hill. It is a cooling atmosphere and love the fact I stay inside the loft-style suite hotel for two nights. Like the design and setting, but hate the fact that I need to wait for 30 minutes for the water heater to heat up and the roof is dripping when it is raining.

Though some of us conquered Mt Kinabalu, this was our first attempt in completing any other trails in Kinabalu National Park. This was also our city kids first step into a thick green oozy muddy rainforest. Their first too, to discover leeches and the tranquility of the forest. We spent almost 3 hours from entering the Kiau View Trail until... More

Had a great climbing trip for my 6 clients who went to climb this mountain. This is my 4th trip here and this time, it was full of surprises. We had a free upgrade to the Kinabalu Lodge when original was Grace lodge. To our surprise, it was fabulous for all of us. One thing was that, there was no... More
