About
This public park boasts vibrant horticulture in its beautifully designed compound. Be greeted by lush greenery, pebbled paths, and stunning pavilions. It's a popular spot amongst locals—you'll find them doing their morning jogs, cycling, and exercising in the park. The park is just as beautiful after dark too, when the garden is magically lit up. Plan your visit during its annual ticketed flower festival, which features flowers from all over the world, flower installations, floristry demonstrations, and more. Visit the park on a tour of Putrajaya, which often includes a stop here. – Tripadvisor

Good place to visit for both local and foreigners. On a regular day, this place is free to enter. Half the entrance may be open but you can still enter.

On a regular day there would be hardly anyone around. If you feel insecure, come with some friends.

Better on a cool day and earlier in the morning. Good place for morning walks , exercise, jogging or cycling.

There is a group of landscape maintenance staff that keeps the place clean and the vegetation looking nice. Toilets are also well maintained. The general maintenance should be as regular and ongoing as the landscaping maintenance or the place would eventually be rundown.

The Chinese friendship garden and fantasy garden are my favourite . The walks around the lake or over the bridge is also good.

After a good morning out, there are places near by for a nice breakfast / brunch.

With just RM5/ entry fee (adult) senior citizen, child n disabled (RM1) - you can see all kinds of flowers, lily, orchids..... and beautiful landscapes. Outdoor, indoor, everywhere. I loved the bamboo theme set up and the landscape creation by school children - from primary schools to universities! Well done. But, you need to pay another RM3/- to enter Winter and Spring gardens, some may feel disappointed because here they used video captions and lighting to create the feel.

We went there for a short walk ask we have 1hr to spare in putrajaya before heading to KLIA. The place is quite a nice place for photoshoot, especially for wedding photoshoot.

However, there is some area seems to be very lack of maintenance, or more precisely, it just look being abandon. As compare to botanical garden, this place seems to have been forgotten by the management. This is the reason it getting 3 star. Else, this place can be easily 4 and half star if the facility is well maintained.

Lights festival quite good except for the musical fountain. Looks pathetic at such a huge lake.

Light boats were ugly except Labuan Boat.

Since 2 or 3 years there is an exhibition of flowers, arts with flowers, etc, held in Putrajaya, Malaysia.
Putrajaya is the administrative capital, i.e. on weekend it is quiet and not so much traffic, except there is some special event like this yearly flower show.
The signage to find the show, if you are a foreigner, is not very informative, better to use google maps.
Parking at the event is until now quite messy and not well organised, but at present it's free.
The entrance fee to the actual show is in the range of MYR 7 to 10, but usually long queues at the counters.
However, the show itself is beautiful, from local plants and flowers to artistic displays with flowers and blossoms, The artistic displays are from all over the world, at least I saw some from Netherland, Germany, Japan, Taiwan, etc.
The event is held just beside the Putarjaya lake which also offers boat rides to take in the scenery of Putrajaya.
This years event has definitely improved, compared to last year, looking forward to the next event of this kind in 2017.
