I have been to so many temples, churches and mosques. Undoubtedly it is one of the most amazing architectures I have ever seen. It’s beautiful, serene and solemn everywhere in the mosque. It’s quite worth visiting, especially at night.
This is perhaps my first time visiting a mosque and I found the place to give a tranquil vibe. It has nice views of surrounding lake. Do note that public visiting hours are restricted. We were lucky to get there just within the visiting hours

Hi David, my apology for not being able to give you the best answer. However, I know that there're many non-Muslim visitors at the Tuanku Mizan Mosque but I'm not sure whether they would allow you to observe the Muslim performing prayers during prayer time. I think the best answer would be from the Management of the said mosque. You can write to firstname.lastname@example.org or call them at +60388804300
I wish you all the best and hopefully you'll enjoy your time when you're here in Malaysia. You can also visit Masjid Putra which is also the main mosque for Putrajaya.
