A very small museum, if you have time to kill.
Level 1 tells you history about Penang and a small area for children to try out traditional games played by Penangites during those times.

Personally, I quite enjoyed this trick art museum. At the start, there is some miniatures display to describe the life of Penang in the past. The friendly guides also come forward to explain when needed. Upstairs, there is plenty of interesting trick art to take...More

Good for older children but not for very young children. It's an interactive museum but only in the aspect that you have many pictures of different scenarios in which to have your picture taken in. It does say there is lots of history about penang...More
We bought the tickets,RM25/person, for The Dark Mansion Museum and the cashier at the counter pursued us to add another RM5 for another entry to this museum. Worth it as there are many good and beautiful wall pictures for us to snap photos.

Fascinating place to visit to find out some of the history of Georgetown and then, when you've had your fill of history, a fun time with all the interactive paintings. The guides were terrific and so friendly. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit there.
We were given free tickets from the hotel, which was good because otherwise, I would have been outraged given how much I would have had to pay to get in. Still, it cost 15 minutes of my life I am not getting back.
