The place to go to if you desire fresh air and to be close to nature. The garden is well kept, preserved and maintained for visitors daily.

Nice Garden, there are a lot of monkeys, if you have kids, I suggest to take tram service which cost you only 10 MYR per adult, it will take you to the whole garden and it is stopping in each point for a while. Walking...More

It was an amazing visit. You can see the monkeys are all around. The air is so refreshing. But beware of the snakes on the tree !

Nicely laid out with tons of interesting plans. The mosquitoes are a bit intense, so wear spray. The monkeys can be pretty aggressive, but they seemed to stay near the entrance of the park. The tiny park shop offers very little but water and some...More

We caught the hop on hop off bus and enjoyed wandering around the gardens. There's a nice hike through the jungle if your feeling fit or you can just take a leisurely stroll around. Entry is free.

The park was poorly maintaned. The design of trees and shrubs was not quality. There were more flowers at the edge of the parking lot than along the park trails.

Penang's Botanical Gardens has always been a nice place to relax and wind. One gets a good view of the greens and lots of monkeys to keepyou company. Do be careful tho - they are not scared of humans! Feed them at your peril.
