Penang was P Ramlee's birthplace and this house is filled with memorabilia like photographs, old furniture, an old typewriter, sunglasses and musical instruments. There is even an old bicycle he used in his younger days. If you are one of his die hard fans , its a must visit, otherwise its a place to visit to learn more about an... More

From director...movie star...an actor at Malay movies...movies loved by young and old...could be shown through television. From his heydays right to the present day... the name P.Ramlee had become a household name known throughout the world. By visiting the gallery..one could know him better by looking at the photographs...his birthplace..the house he lived in.

The house is a repro and was not really his residence. This makes it have more of a museum feel rather than a home feel. Time your visit so you get to watch the traditional dance performances that are usually shown on Friday afternoons.

Can visit his house and gallery. The house is small with lots of picture hanging. You can see how he love music so much more than theater.

Yes, we had good time learning more about P Ramlee but we hope there was more to see; things belonged to P Ramlee.

You'll need a car to get here. Suggest to use either the Waze app or Google Maps app to find your way here. Entrance is free. Do go inside the house of P Ramlee, and you'll appreciate more of the upbringing of P Ramlee.

This house is where the legendary P.Ramlee was born. They have kept original items belonged to Tan Sri P.Ramlee such as shirts, bags etc. Very informative, the gallery telling about the journey of P.Ramlee, family and friends. There are also souvenirs you can buy. Worth a visit and it's FREE!

I grow up with his movie. This is the worth it place to go and read about his past life. We visited the mini museum and his house as well. The entrance is free of charge. Overall, drop by to visit this place.
