It rained the whole day before we go up the mount. Hence it was foggy the next morning. So foggy that you cant even see the view 10meter in front of you. The road leading up the mount is very narrow. Drive carefully. At the foot of the hill lays the Boh tea plantation. Be sure to check it out

We heard that we could now drive up to the highest point on Cameron's, so why not give it a shot? It turned out to be a pretty hair raising drive both up and down the single lane, sometime dirt track road winding up the hill. We felt that was the most adventurous part to the expedition. We eventually arrived... More

I drove up the road leading to Gunung Brinchang. It is said to be the highest motorable road in Peninsular Malaysia, and it was a challenge - a single lane road curving up around the mountain, You get to see the Boh Tea plantation on the way up, as well as a few vegetable farms and you pass by Mossy... *) Did it as a part of Eco Cameron Travel & Tours - Full Day Experience Tour. *) A dead end road - that has telephone towers and a old rusted watch/observatory tower to take a view of the highlands. There is no view as such but just tress all over. Gets crowded also, as the watch tower has steep... More

I took a taxi as far up Gunung Brinchang as could be gone. The road ends at a radio tower, which I climbed in order to see the view. The view itself was decent--but no better than others available in more convenient locations, like the Mossy Forest. Additionally, the radio tower was rickety and had very narrow, steep steps that... Contrary to the most of reviewers I got there by following the jungle trail no 1. It was a nice reward after sliding on the muddy slopes of the hill and definitively the best view of the whole walk. The view tower was crowded but 5 minutes of waiting in queue was well rewarded with views of the whole valley.... More

Actually I went there by 4X4 through tour agency and I found it normal not that superb view which I expected. Maybe because it was cloudy.

The road up Gunung Brinchang is narrow, pot-holed and winding but it is worth a visit. Views are fabulous and air fresh and cool. Early mornings and evenings are best as there are less visitors but it might be very chilly and misty during those times. A visit here can be combined with a visit to mossy forest, Mountain strawberry... More

It is 6666 feet from the sea level, we can go by car or even bike itself, 4wheel drive is not necessary here. Once we reached, we need to climb the ladder it will be around 40 stairs and three levels we can watch the great view from the top, but crowd will be there hence we can’t spend time... More
