This place is OK for some of the smaller animals/insects but unfit for others, particularly the larger ones. The turkeys only had a muddy, sludgy run, with nowhere dry to stand or sit (except for a small wooden stand only big enough for one of them and placed for the viewers benefit) they were wondering up and down looking for... We weren't really sure what our guide intended for us as we'd already visited the mossy forest and a tea plantation, but he decided to drop us at the door and suggested we wander around. Despite recent reviews describing dead butterflies and ill-treated animals, I must admit I didn't notice anything unpleasant when we visited. There were plenty of beetles... More

This was a an enjoyable stop when we visited the Cameron Highlands. The butterfly area was great, and there were plenty of opportunity for the children to see plenty of animals as well.. There were plenty of photograph opportunities for those who love flowers.

It was only 7rm to go in and this place is not worth any more. The lady we bought our tickets from was unfriendly and rude. We saw the whole place in about 30 mins.

Yup..it requires entering fee...but its still worth going in with kid as good for exploring! Not many butterlies as some u may observe are fake (spicemen made after they die)on some plants....try not to touch them.. Rabbits...ducks...chickens..snakes..stick insects....ok...can spend around 25-40mins there for photography....

Even though there seems to only be one on Trip Advisor, there are TWO butterfly places next to each other - Butterfly Farm and Butterfly Garden. Butterfly Garden is a total ripoff with not many animals and just a nice-ish garden with flowers and veges. You can sometimes hold a small snake which is cool I guess. But all animals... More

We stopped there on the way back from the Boh Tea plantation for a short stop, lots of various cacti in pots at the entrance, some steep stairs to get into the area the guide showed us the various insects and animals on display plus placing some of the insects on our fellow travellers much amusements by us, a fine...
