The very first thing that caught my attention was the gardens. They were so clean an attractive. See pics to believe it for yourself.

This hotel is located inside a theme park which is also located next to Langkawi's cable car and Skybridge which is a must visit. The Theme Park is rather plain but food is expensive. It is recommended to stay and enjoy the park and drive...More

Oriental Village is a not a place that you "seek out" in order to shop or eat here. The only real reason that people end up here is because you must walk through this area to get to the Langkawi Cable Car and Sky Bridge....More

This was just a walk from our Hotel at the Berjaya Resort - very touristy but the prices were pretty much what you got elsewhere. So if you are limited in terms of travel and perhaps staying the the Berjaya - its a good place...More

The animals here are abused. Not my cup of tea at all. Until the animals are relocated I wouldn't recommend coming here. There's a petition on line regarding the animal abuses here.

Great for Duty Free shopping, beer and wine. We also found a little massage hut and spent an hour or so there. Nice wander around the shops, ok for a short time.

Yes you can ride the cable car in the rain. Only thing to keep in mind is the view from the top.
