A short hike up a good path leads to the waterfall. Well worth a short visit but be aware that out of rainy season there is not much water.

The hike to the falls was pleasant, and the gorge is impressive, but our visit was during the dry season and the falls were, well, non-existent.

It was a bit slippery, so I wouldn't recommend they can run around freely, but if accompanied by adults it would be fine. It is not overly strenuous, just slippery and with uneven steps.
