This is a great trip by boat from Kuah, approx 45 mins by speed boat and 1.5hours by ferry. It is a must see as the waters are prestine, and the snorkelling is very good. A nice day trip.

I’ve done go to Payar Island last couple month ago and now I go for sec time, they change to different beach which is next to old beach. Its okay but I think I like the old beach than the new place.

Manage to catch the view with many fishes. Because the other snorkellers were feeding the fishes. There's even baby shark swimming close to us!

It's a nice day out if you are looking for an unstructured activity. This is probably targeted more at novice snorkellers as whilst the area is nice and there is a good selection of fish, it's not a large space and isn't as nice as...More

For those who have done snorkelling before, will find this place not so interesting. Might be good for first timers as one can do snorkelling in knee deep waters. There are various colourful small and big fishes which are nice to see though, and the...More

It's a place for snorkeling which you need to book packages from the local company over there. Normally, you can have the details from hotel frontdesk. Not so much of sea marines to see as it is quite a small beach. Good place to have...More

We were really looking forward to this trip as we love snorkelling and nature. We weren't disappointed as much as heartbroken when we got here. The sea is full of plastic, as is the beach. The visitors don't seem to care and we saw many...More

Hi there - I took a ferry from Penang to Pulau Payar (2hr), arrived on a floating house, right at the snookering place. There are lockers for rent on this floating house. Hope it helps Bac.
