Not crowded beach

Very good and quite place without any scooters and other similar stuff. The perfect place for swinmming and sun baths.

Most of the beach is privat and belongs to the hotels. Therefore u will not find any tourists here or because they rather save money and stays in cenang beach

There are a few beaches in Langkawi and whilst Tengah beach is away from the hussle and bustle its definitely worth a trip if you're looking for a less crowded and quiter beach. The sunset is beautiful here.

Beach itself is beautiful and calm. It is clean. Biggest problem is that there is no net for jellyfishes. I saw 3 of them. There is not any warningsign.

It's like being in Cornwall on a beautiful summers day, few people and loads of room to spread out and enjoy the clear waters with No interruption of locals trying to sell trips or events. Very nice, only place to but food I think was the hotel beach bar but we had a nice brunch and beer although it cost... More

The beach is relatively quiet (if you ignore all the parasailers, jet skis etc) and not very crowded. As some comments mentioned before, there is no shade- so make sure to bring a parasol if you'll be at the beach during noon-afternoon. Even if the beach is beautiful itself, you can see a lot of plastic rubbish- we could see... More

Tengah is a really lovely beach and so much more peaceful than Cenang. We stayed within walking distance so really enjoyed the convenience and the lack of crowds. Obviously there is no shade - its a beach - and there are no fancy resorts right on it yet (except for up the far end) so umbrellas are not provided but... More

This is a lovely beach with nice sand and views over to several small jungle islands. Thankfully it has far fewer people than Pantai Cenang, though building work at its entrance and in the middle disturb the peace a little and harm the ambience. The sea was warm and wave-free but murky. The main drawback is the lack of shade.... More

Tenga is a beautiful quiet beach just south of main Cenang beach. Great coral sand - mostly grainy but sometimes very fine. Only downsides: water sports centre to the right and can be noisy with boats; it can have jelly fish as the whole west coast of Lankgawi.

We spent a couple of days in Langkawi and stayed close by Tengah Beach. We walked by the evening and also in the morning and enjoyed the quietness of the beach and the warm waters. Unfortunately, there's still much rubbish in the area, which is a real shame as the area is really beautiful.
