One of the steepest cable car ride on earth, it takes visitors up 708m above sea level to Langkawi's second highest peak of Mt. Machinchang. This is well worth the visit. You get a view of the surrounding islands which is simply breathtaking. Plus enjoy great views of the hillside flora, waterfalls and occasional glimpses of the wildlife and birds. When you reach the top, try the SkyBridge, A curved pedestrian bridge built atop Mt. Machinchang at height about 700m above sea level. Accessible from the Top Station, the bridge is suspended from a 82m high single pylon and hangs at about 100m above the ground. This place is just GREAT !

Great views, the wind blows so soft n cool, sunlight is great, not to be missed. The waiting line is fast, n the cable car riding is great n scary at the same time. We enjoyed so much.

My travelling buddies decided to check this out since the entrance fee had already been included in the Combo B package which we had purchased. Otherwise, tickets are priced at RM18 & RM30 for local & international adults. As for child, it’s RM15 & RM20 in the same category.
There are a total of 20 shows but you can’t pick & choose. The outdoor cinema is open from 9:00 am – 7:00 pm on a daily basis & there are 4 shows in each hour.
We were ushered into a room with not more than 20 seats. We were told to keep our handphones & other small items in our handbags. Thereafter, 3D glasses were handed out to us. We had caught the roller-coaster movie that lasted not more than 10 minutes & we were psyched for the ride.
The seats would move & jerk as & when necessary, corresponding to the contents of the movie. The sound effect & lighting would also follow through to give you the best experience & heighten your sense of excitement. There are dials or levers which you could set according to your own requirements. Feel free to increase or decrease the level of intensity. In short, whatever the onscreen characters are experiencing, you get to experience the same!
At the end of the roller-coaster movie, we really felt as if we were up there having a thrilling roller-coaster ride. Highly recommended but not for pregnant women or very young children.
