Dont get me wrong it is a very cool big Langkawi which is awesome to look at and take photos of but the square itself isn't very vibrant, no need to speed more than half an hour there. The shops in the surrounding areas aren't...More

Once you have taken your photos of the national bird, there is not much else to see Nearby there is a fairly large shopping area selling local and imported items, from souvenirs to household goods.

A huge landmark, It over looks the sea in tranquility. The Eagle represents the state bird. From the Ferry terminal it is very close.

It's practically just a huge eagle statue in an empty square. Since this statue symbolises Langkawi, coming here to take a few snapshots is inevitable. The nearby areas also have some nice photo spots.

The open area this is in provides some excellent sunsets. Huge eagle statue. Very cool and impressive. Langkawi means Brown Eagle so this is the symbol. Busy area with people taking pictures. Located very near the ferry jetty

Great place to create memories of Langkawi. You can click picture with the majestic eagle statue. We went after dark so the pics were not so great but I am sure they would be better in day light.
