It was worth the drive to see this beautiful place. Only issue for me were the 'facilities'. There was only one outdoor privy and it smelled very bad. Still worth seeing. Just be prepared!

A very nice and scenic place. If a proper approach is made to go down to the lake from the road & a good cafe comes up it would add to the charm. A very nice visit.

Any time would do. You cannot swim in it. We wee there with snow on the hills, and that was very picturesque
