Good way to see the city sights. Day pass is available for the trams (either from the driver or the Iyotetsu travel shop at the city's main terminal) which makes for easy travel. Both trains and trams are comfortable and well maintained.

The streetcars are from 1950s. The whole atmosphere feels like you are in a movie, back in time. Just some people using their smartphones remind you about present.

Like Kochi, Matsuyama has a well preserved old train system. Be sure to ride on this train when you are in Matsuyama. Buy the one day pass and you are going around the city in this train.
