時期ごとにテーマに沿った展示をしています。鍋島氏の資料は基本的にこちらに集められているそうで、貴重な資料も多くみられます。展示中のテーマを調べてから行くことをお勧めします。

JR佐賀駅から徒歩20分。佐嘉中央郵便局と佐嘉神社の間にある。
建物は1927年の築で国の登録有形文化財に指定されている。
訪館した時は特別展「幕末明治の鍋島家－大名から侯爵へ」(入館料400円)が開催されており、嫁入り道具、首相官邸での舞踏会服、秀吉からの朱印状などが展示されていた。時期によって展示物や入館料は変わるようだが、貴重なものを見られるであろう。

鍋島家のお雛様が毎年お雛様の時期に展示されていると、ポスターでみていたので、
楽しみにいってきました。
昨年、金沢で加賀のお雛様を見てきたスペースよりは、小さなワンフロアーだけの展示場でしたので、すぐに見終わりますが、なかなか素晴らしく、駐車場が1時間無料でしたので鍋島家家系図などをじっくりとみながらゆっくりと学んできました。
お雛様の時期ですので、小さな女の子を連れた家族づれも何組かいらして、とても温かみのある雰囲気でした。
11代鍋島直大夫人栄子様のお雛様、13代直養夫人紀久子様のお雛様が両側に飾ってあり、なかなか見ごたえがありました。
広くはないので、家族でぷらっと行ってさっとみてくるのに丁度よいかと。
当代随一の人形師の名品ですが館内は撮影禁止です。残念。

鍋島家に伝わる三人の女性のお雛様が、雅やかに飾られていました。
雛人形が大好きですし、有田でも焼き物のお雛様を見てきたので、すごく見入ることができました。名古屋出身の私は、徳川家のお雛様も見たことがあるのですが、比較することもできて、本当に楽しかったです。

佐賀藩主鍋島家の幕末から明治時代に思いをはせることができた。ただ、博物館や歴史館として見ると、展示が少なく３００円の価値があるかは疑問。

「佐賀城下おひなさま祭り」の時期だったので、普段目にする事の無い、鍋島家ゆかりの豪華な雛壇が圧巻でした。

県庁の展望フロアに行って近くなのでその後に来ました。駐車場は郵便局との境目があかりづらかったですが前にありました。徴古館で入場料を払うときに駐車券を処理してもらうと駐車場は無料になりました。明治時代の上流社会の生活を見ることができました。入場料を払うのはよいのですが、展示スペースが小さいかなという気がしました。

佐嘉神社の隣りにある佐賀藩鍋島家ゆかりの博物館。昭和初期の開館で洋風の建物。展示準備期間だったのかザンネンながら休館中だった。

ひなまつり期間中だったので
徴古館では鍋島家の雛祭りの展示がされていた。
たしかに貴重なものだろうが興味を持てず・・・
写真撮影もできず、館内もせまい。
外観は素晴らしかったが・・・

かつての佐賀城の濠の北側、佐嘉神社との並びの場所にあります。佐賀城の藩主で、明治維新後は侯爵となった鍋島家に伝わる美術品などを展示している資料館です。企画展によって展示内容・展示品を変えているそうです。建物自体も国の登録有形文化財に指定されていて、入口の柱の部分などが特徴的な造りになっています。
