Its took around 40 mins drive by bus from JR Wakayama. Very empty during week day. A artificial "Town". Fish market as usual as any Japanese fish market ( Tokyo or Osaka). Gifts and food are a little bit cheaper than city. Tuna show was...More

We walked about and that took about 10 minutes. It’s a fun park that appealed to the local teens who were having a great time but it’s not a tourist destination.

Happened to visit the Marine City Park and chanced upon this place. Nice to look at and is a good attraction but I wouldn't go to Japan to look for such stuff.

I love coming here, the Marina City was free to enter before 5pm on Christmas day. If you want to take rides, you just need to pay for the specific ride you want! 300-700¥. Or you can pay 3,500¥ (adults) or 2,900¥ (kids) to take...More

this place has charm and fun rides. you can walk around and there is also a market. you can see the fish filet show that is famous in tokyo at a reasonable hour (i think shows are at: 1100/1330/1630)

The Porte Europa Amusement Park in Marina City Island is a tiny park in which provides different rides with a fee after you enter the park. This park is not famous nor attractive to other travellers due to the far distance towards Wakayama. Unfortunately we...More

We got free tickets from the hotel. That's why we went. Otherwise, it is not worth the money! Apart from the entry fee, most games have to get extra tickets and suitable for kids under 10. There is a sky elevator where you can get...More
