Was a great time... live bands on stage, a DJ, shopping, tons of food and cheer! We traveled from Kyoto for this annual bash and we really enjoyed it.

Its took around 40 mins drive by bus from JR Wakayama. Very empty during week day. A artificial "Town". Fish market as usual as any Japanese fish market ( Tokyo or Osaka). Gifts and food are a little bit cheaper than city. Tuna show was...More

We walked about and that took about 10 minutes. It’s a fun park that appealed to the local teens who were having a great time but it’s not a tourist destination.

Happened to visit the Marine City Park and chanced upon this place. Nice to look at and is a good attraction but I wouldn't go to Japan to look for such stuff.

We went with some anticipation as we saw the pictures online. However, the place seemed a little run down and in need of a round of fresh paint. The nearby kuroshio market seemed to be a better place to visit.

I guess people won't go just to Porto Europe if not for Kushiro Ichiba fish market. Admission is free and that helps. The market is a must-go but i find this attraction quite out of place in the Marina City. There are some rides, but...More

The Porte Europa Amusement Park in Marina City Island is a tiny park in which provides different rides with a fee after you enter the park. This park is not famous nor attractive to other travellers due to the far distance towards Wakayama. Unfortunately we...More
