True Japanese experience through the food in a great company of Mitch! The tour went very smooth, from the first moment I felt like in a company of good friends enjoying Tokyo and sharing food and stories. Mitch has very good English and answered all the questions, he led the tour in a well-balanced manner and we finished on time. First time in my life I tried white strawberries and fatty tuna in sashimi, also saw the whole tuna itself! Overall, a very unique experience, which I highly recommend.

I cannot recommend this tour enough. Our guide was Ann - and she was delightful. We both really enjoyed the time we spend with her. It was only our first day in Tokyo, so it was a perfect way to learn about the city, the amazing food available and the interesting places to go. Ann emailed us before the tour to confirm any dietary issues we may have, and then planned the tour around those. Not only did we get to visit some very interesting places we could not have discovered without help, we got to taste food in some excellent, family restaurants filled with locals (who clearly knew good food).
Ann was great company, and took efforts to explain the history of the areas we found ourselves in as well information about the food itself. It was a fantastic introduction to this amazing city. We learnt a lot. I do recommend good walking shoes - the restaurants are not all in the one area, so you get to do a little train travel and some walking, but the effort is well worth the reward. Book the tour, ask for Ann - it was a great way to spend the evening.

Mutsuko was a wonderful guide as we walked together through historical Tokyo. She was so knowledgeable and was willing to answer my many questions. She was so kind, professional and skilled with her knowledge and beautifully told the history of the area. She took several pictures and sent them to me after the tour. I got to see how some traditional lucky gods cakes were made and to sample a hot one. Yummy! We stopped at a tea shop and got to sample the yellow flower tea. So tasty! I sampled a traditional food at a restaurant that was over 100 years. We visited a stationery store. Mutsuko took me upstairs where we enjoyed some tea and she showed me how to make an origami crane. That was so special for me! This was my favorite tour while visiting Tokyo largely because of Mutsuko. I know you will agree with me that she is an amazing person and asset to your company. I highly recommend this tour.

Great Tour throughout a variation of popular places and izakya's. The Tourguide Atsushi was great. He gave context where the different names of the districts of Shinjuku came and showed me how to properly act at an shrine.

We started our tour in Ningyocho and sampled a few pieces of sweet and savory street food snacks. Our lovely guide Hiroko provided us with fascinating facts and useful information about Tokyo's history and Japan more generally.
Even though neither our, nor her English were perfect this was not an obstacle and we managed to communicate extremely well.
We also visited a shrine and a temple and learned about the customs and Japanese religion, while walking through some areas that we would never have encountered on our own.
Overall, we definitely learned a lot about Japan and Japanese culture.
Would highly recommend taking this tour, when interested in combining food and learning and visiting spots you may not find on your own.
Thank you so much for an amazing tour!

Tsunematsu Hidenori was outstanding! ( Hide-san to us 😃) we met Hide-san at the lion not really knowing what he had planned and were delightfully rewarded with a real experience of local Japanese eating out . Hide-san quickly put us at ease and was totally committed to us all having a wonderful evening . It was great to be able to ask so many questions and the Japanese culture . There were 6 of us and we couldn’t have had a better experience . A word of warning , do not eat beforehand as we had so much to eat !!!

Hide was a fantastic guide who took us to 3 different locations to sample Japanese food. Be warned: don’t eat lunch beforehand as the amount of food at the last restaurant especially was staggering! He took us off the tourist trail to where locals enjoy their food so be prepared to EAT! Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Mihori is very nice and a great guide - it was a wonderful experience to explore the fish market with her. She made sure to cater to our wishes and interests and she is very knowledgeable about the local foods. I highly recommend the tour!

Hide was such a great guide! My boyfriend and I met up with him last night for some drinks and oishi food (he was able to accommodate my dietary needs well!) and had great conversation all night! We happened to mention we were looking for a film camera and he even took us to a store where we could find one! This is a great 2nd or 3rd night activity to learn more about the layout of the city and learn some of it history from Hide. Highly recommend! ⭐️

Gucci was both a knowledgeable and fun tour guide! I loved the mini stops that we took us along the way to show us unique views of the city or popular shops in the Ginza area. The food was also delicious and was food I wouldn’t have ever tried without the tour! Worth every penny!
