After crossing the Tateiwa Suspension Bridge, it is located about 400m down to the left, in the opposite direction from the Tateiwa Observatory. The stairs to the observation deck we had been to earlier were unexpectedly steep, so this felt easier.
Just ahead, just below the road, where it had gotten a little dark, we could see a beautiful waterfall shining in the sunlight filtering through the trees. It was small but more beautiful than I had imagined. When I turned around, I could see Suehiro Pond, although I couldn't quite make out its shape.

昨年6月に家族で那須に旅行して、東京に帰る途中にここに行きました。梅雨時でしたが雨が上がり蒸し暑かったです。滝は涼しかったです。

鬼怒楯岩大吊橋から楯岩遊歩道で400ｍほど。楯岩鬼怒姫神社や楯岩展望台とは逆方向になります。
両方行くか片方だけ行くか迷う場所かもしれません。
それほどこの地域に来る機会もないので、両方行きましたが、往復で合わせて1600ｍになったので少々疲れました。
鬼怒川有料道路121号道の脇の楯岩遊歩道を進んで行くとやがて121号道の橋の下に向かって案内が出てきます。
少し薄暗い道路の下に右に古釜の滝・左に末広池が見える場所がありました。
小さいながらも3段の滝が見えました。それほど見るべきものでもないですがキレイな水が流れていて爽やかな雰囲気でした。
紅葉の季節はとても良いかもしれませんね。

鬼怒川温泉の楯岩のつり橋を渡り、右側、下り方面に進むとあります。ちょっとした川の段差といったところで、滝というほどでもありません。

鬼怒川温泉駅から鬼怒楯岩大吊橋を渡って左へ下数百m下ったところにあります。どこまで下っていくかなと小さいトンネルを越えて橋を渡るところに滝が現れます。思わずタイトルのように・・・・・温泉街散策の一環としてはいいと思います。

鬼怒楯岩大吊橋をわたると、案内板があります。ずんずん歩いていくと４００ｍ程先に滝があると。橋を渡りどこまで行くのかと思うと、橋の真ん中に案内図が、、。ここが滝？というか、確かに段差があるけど、、、。結構驚き。
