すぐ隣には米軍基地が有りたくさんの船が停泊してます。時には空母や潜水艦など。見てるだけでも飽きません。是非一度足を運んでください。

現在国内に168ある「海の駅」のひとつ。平成12年に瀬戸内海に設置されて以来、国土交通省海事局等が推進してきたようです。陸路からのアクセスでマリンレジャーを広める目的も果たしているそうで、クルーズ体験のサービスも実施中。皆で活用しましょう。
