Very nice park, for having a stroll and enjoy the sea-view.

Very nice park, for having a stroll and enjoy the sea-view. Many people with dogs, so if you are a dog lover, this is a great place. Nice place for a picnick.

It is especially nice to enjoy a breakaway from your hectic itinerary. Less than a 10 minute walk from China Town. Take a relaxing stroll on the promenade to enjoy the array of flowers and the spectacular sea view. You can see locals running and walking their dogs. Of course, you may visit Hikawa Maru and Yokohama Marine Tower. Don’t... More

APRIL 2017 I was lucky enough to be staying across the street from this incredible Yamashita Park 4/6-14/2017 during their "Garden Necklace" Planted Flower Exhibition (it runs until June 4, 2017)-- It may be beautiful at other times of the year (they have roses that bloom from June-Aug) but NOW was a special time with lots of care having been... A really great place to see the Hikame maru ship from outside before you go in. A nice serene place. There are some good restaurants around the place and the tickets fro the sea bass are right around the corner.

Very near to China Town. You can enjoy sea view while walking along the park. It takes around 15 minutes to walk to Red Brick Warehouse. Take your time, slowly walk and put all stress away while walking.

This park is beautifully maintained and designed. It provides a great setting for early morning runs and evening walks. Close proximity to Chinatown and the train network. A must see while in Yokohama

I cannot say much, because February is not the right time for a stroll among the flowers in this part, I am sure that the park is beautiful in spring and summer.

I stayed at an AirBnB in nearby Yokohama Chinatown. I went out running every morning during my stay along the Yokohama Waterfront. My run started in Yamashita Park. It was a beautiful park with a nice promenade along the waterfront with an excellent view of the other parts of the waterfront.

A sunny day in January, perfect. It's not so much the park itself that is worth the visit, more the waterside promenade. The harbour front is busy, many things to see, and the water is clear. The park links to many of the main attractions in Yokohama such as the Ferry Terminal, Minato Mirai, and The Brick Warehouse complex.

Yamashita Park, located just a few streets away from Yokohama Chinatown and Motomachi shopping street is a beautiful park to have a stroll and enjoy the beautiful harbor view of Minato Mirai 21. Highly recommended if you have extra time and would love to have a good walk. We walked from the park all the way back to Minato Mirai... More
