nice onsen, clean&very relaxing with the natural stone, trees, .. i went on a weekday(!!) after visiting hakone area as a day trip from tokio- it was lovely as it wasnt crowded at all and also there were very few foreigners -great experience!

This was an amazing onsen. The baths were enveloped in trees, waterfalls and natural stone. We spent several hours there enjoying the setting and various temperature pools. Highly recommend- a great refuge outside of Tokyo.

yes, it is! they are very tattoo friendly :) Both I and my husband (both have tattoos) went there and had a blast!

No need to make reservation for day trip. Generally, if you see 日帰り温泉, it means walk-in.
