Enjoyed a volcanic valley and hot spring sites for 'black eggs' (hard boiled eggs) after riding the Hakone Ropeway. When it's fine, people can see Mountain Fuji

Totally worth, active vulcans and the chance to try the black eggs! It can be a little bit windy and foggy preventing you from seeing Mount Fuji but still worth the visit.

Breathtaking views of volcanic gases. 1044m above sea level. Interesting experience but not good for those with respiratory issues.

Claire, as of yesterday: NO, unfortunately (due to high gas concentration). I asked, and they've been closed for MONTHS, they told me What a pity!
