I went there the other day for the first time, and was surprised to see that it was a park for dogs.
First of all, dogs were barking at each other in the dog run from the entrance... I was surprised, but when I went inside, it seemed like one in three customers were pulling their dogs (from my experience), and it felt like they were showing off their dogs in strange clothes. The dogs (mostly small, restless dogs) were also barking at the first thing they met, and the barking of dogs was constantly echoing here and there, so as someone who is always bothered by the noise of dogs in the neighborhood, it was not a very relaxing atmosphere for shopping. Some of them were walking around urinating on the pillars, and as I am personally allergic to dogs, I couldn't stand it, so I left early.
I've been to Gotemba Outlet from time to time, and although it has expanded in size recently and there are more people with dogs, they just walk around silently, so I haven't really noticed it. I've been to other outlets both in Japan and abroad, but this was my first time seeing a dog park like this, and I was surprised. I don't know if it varies from day to day, but for people like me who don't like dogs, it's not a place where you can shop or anything, so I wouldn't recommend it at all.

I dropped by on the way to Minami Boso, but it doesn’t feel like such a great deal and the selection is half-finished. Some stores offer discounts on all the items on display, but only some apparel items are discounted, others are new arrivals and no discounts. Living in the U.S., I had high hopes for a local outlet, but I would rather buy a new product that was this.
I stayed from morning to noon on weekdays, but the only people I was desperate to buy were Chinese tourists.

Sprawling grounds meant many shops to cover, and many of the brands with outlets there are unique to Japan only, on top of the traditional fashion brands.
Mercedes-Benz even has a store there, with many cars in the carpark, presumably for test drives. There was also a central festival area near the food court, with pop-up stores selling local produce and a small stage. There was even a tailor / alternation ship (Fashion Reform Reparera) which could alter your new purchases to fit!
There was a large food court with many cafes. Some publicity signs pointed to Kisarazu Concept store, which was just opposite the road. It seemed to feature work by local fashion designers, but had a 300 yen entry fee, so wasn't worth it.

This outlet is about 50 minutes from Tokyo. The other day I went to Gothenburg and I didn't think it was so big, but it's a fairly large outlet. Currently under construction, there are lounges, and there are some stations installed outside. Common maps are only posted on the homepage, and the brand is also marked in Japanese, making it difficult for foreigners to see. The maps on the road or the bathroom on the road are printed in English, so it is better to take a picture. In the map on the homepage, there is an asshole that at least the brand is written in English. It was quite exciting to find an EXRAGIN or AVIEX store in Gothenburg, and I was surprised to see a multi-shop or second phone shop. There was little self-catering, and there was only one convenience store so there was no convenience. If you do not go to Gothenburg or use Haneda Airport, you can only go there.

It's convenient because it's right on your left when you cross the Aqua-Line, but it's a disaster when the Aqua-Line becomes unusable due to wind or other factors.
The outlet is very large with many stores, so it's a great environment♪
There's also a well-equipped food court, so you'll never have trouble finding something to eat!

It's fun to see a variety of stores, from standard outlets to slightly more upscale stores (such as John Masters Organics). There's a place called Chiba-kun Plaza, which has information and pamphlets about sightseeing in Chiba. The food court was extremely crowded both day and night during the holidays. I'm grateful that parking is free.

A very average outlet park. Lots of stores, however the prices were high and there were very few good deals. It takes some travelling to get to (approx 1 hr by car the day we went). It was very disappointing when compared to other outlet centres that I have visited in other countries. The positive is that the centre is well set up and access to all the stores is very easy.

Took about 45 mins by the recommended bus from Tokyo station. There are a few buses stopping at this bus stop but the one going to the outlet has the sign mitsui outlet outside the bus. The outlet mall was v big and spacious, with many stores. Had a great time enjoying myself there however the journey back was a nightmare. We boarded the 3.30pm bus back to Tokyo station at the outlet mall and only reached Tokyo station at 8.30pm! Took a total of 5 hrs, due to the gridlocked traffic. Luckily there was toilet available on the bus. Although it was a great place to shop with many brands which I like available, I don't think I want to be stuck in this traffic again....

Opened around 4 months ago, Mitsui Outlet Park Kisarazu is still not shown on Google Earth. So it is hard to find on the map, but surprisingly easy to get to by train and bus. From Tokyo, Chiba or Narita, take the JR train lines to JR Sodegaura Station in Kisarazu. A bus goes directly to the shopping center for 190 yen and back to the train station. Not to sure how many stores there are, but there were a lot of well known brands throughout the center. Please check their website for information on the stores. Like all outlet parks, almost everything was on sale. Coach bags, retail for 70,000 yen, were on sale for 50% off. They were passing out coupons for an additional 30% off. So now they were getting in my price range. The food court was great with a lot of food selection and comfortable environment despite the hot weather outside.

This was our 4th and last stop of our 4-day outlet shopping driving tour. The entire family was kind of exhausted by now (imagine 3 previous days of non-stop shopping for at least 6 hours) and you start to get the picture.
Little would we know that this would be the largest of the 4 outlet malls we would visit on this trip (the others being Shiga MOP (Mitsui Outlet Park), Kuwana MOP & Gotemba PO (Premium Outlet)), and since we had to leave by 5 pm (in order to return the rental at 7 pm back in Shibuya), the family had to split up and do a quick sweep of the mall.
My impression was that the shops here are similar or smaller in size to the other 2 MOPs that we had visited and accordingly had less variety to offer, although similar to other previous reviewers, the range of Japanese brands here was the most (compared to the 2 other MOPs we had visited).
The offerings in the international branded shops were a bit disappointing (compared to the 3 outlets we had visited), so if you do decide to come here, you will have to adjust your expectations and focus on local Japanese brands.
However, if you prefer or want to target international brands, my advice would be to target either Gotemba or Sano PO (both doable day trips from Tokyo).
That said, I personally would keep this outlet on my future list, since it contains quite a few brands which we had not come across in our past visits to other MOPs or POs.

If your purpose is shopping, this is better if you are coming from Tokyo. But Gotemba, having the view of Mt fuji have an advantage.
