Just opposite the dune is the sand museum. Beautifully craft. November theme is the USA. Easy to get to as it has direct bus access.

The entrance ticket is ¥600 and if you buy the ticket from Tottori tourist information Centre, you can get ¥100 discount off. This year's theme is "The United States of America". Suggest you watch the short movie briefing how the team members overcome the difficulties...More

The sand dune is a nice place to visit. You can walk around and take nice pictures around. The Sand Museum is worth to visit. The sculpture is good.

amazing large sand sculptures in open air display, very impressive and highly recommended if you are visiting Tottori Sand Dunes!

The Sand Museum is a must visit when you come to Tottori . All the sculptures here are made by sands and all of it are very detailed sculptures. Do come here first before heading to the Sand Dunes .
