If your at the dunes it's close, but I'm not sure I'd go again. It's a bunch of sand sculptures inside which are, no doubt amazing, but weird as their inside.

If you come here before the sand dunes they give you discount coupons for riding camels and such. Plus you can park free in there and ride the gondola down to the dunes. The museum is very entertaining and they have huge sand sculptures made...More

Get a discount by purchasing your ticket at the Tourist office inside the JR Tottori station. Normal price is 600 yen, at the tourist off it is 500yen. Please check the website to make sure the museum is opened as the museum closes for few...More

The Sand Museum at Tottori offers a unique view into the world of sand sculptures. Each year they change the complete exhibit and focus upon a brand new theme. A great place to visit.
