Literati who loved Japan, house lived Koizumi Yakumo. Buildings of more than a hundred years ago. Wonderfully beautiful garden. It is possible to see the customs of hundred years ago. Narrow building, but can spend a relaxed time. I recommend strongly here.

A quick stop and walk-through right after the Hearn Memorial Hall next door. Worth a look if you're sight-seeing in the Shiomi Nawata/Matsue Castle area.

Koizumi yakumo is Lafcadio Hearn's pen name who is one of Japan's greatest writers. He had lived the house staying in Matsue.
