Steep climb up steps to get there in the very hot weather of August. No view from the top worth talking about despite what the reviewers say.

One of the best spots in the town, less touristy than the rest and great to walk and feel the spirit of the place.

Because it is on a hill, the Achi shrine provides an elevated view of the city and surrounding area. However, there are much better shrines in Japan.
