This is a lovely park that has some colourful trees, a bobsled, playground for younger kids and a run down small zoo. It is worth the effort if you have young kids.

Beautiful park with great playground and great views! There is also a free petting zoo. Park accesible by bus 45 leaving the station at 10am. Although it is worth noting there is only one bus back at approx 2:30pm. We took the bus there then...More

Matsumoto Alps Park is located north of the train station. It is quite a hike uphill to get there. Only 2 daily buses operate from the train station to the park south entrance. The views of the Alps are awesome and are better appreciated from...More
