I am so glad I visited the Khami ruins. I love archaeological sites and this is the first I've been to in Africa. Fascinating to get a glimpse of life in the region 400 to 600 years ago. And the setting is beautiful.

The site museum has recently been renovated and is very interesting.Suggest you either take a guide or buy the book by Paul Hubbard and Rob Burrett. Beautiful examples of decorated wall patterns. Try to avoid the midday heat! Take water with you.

Beautiful art and stylishly built. Just 22km west of Bulawayo is situated this amazing structure with an original set up of the Rozvi homestead. If you are in Bulawayo any day you can't do without these second from Great Zimbabwe ruins.
