This really was one of those 'this will stay with me forever' experiences. The guides were really knowledgeable, they explained the conservation efforts the they undertake and allowed plenty of time to interact with the lions. I felt safe at all times and the dos...More

The walk was fascinating and we got great photos. It's a bit pricey for what it is but you will never get another opportunity like this. All the activities in Zambia were expensive so choose wisely.

Wonderful experience! Lions were 18 months old and large enough:-) At 24 months they will hunt you so don't be disturbed that you will not see a well developed mane! Worth every penny!

First things first: it's expensive. 140$ for an hour, so it's most probably going to be your priciest walk in the park. Therefore, I would recommend this to someone who is in love with big cats, and would consider this as their dream. I was...More

Without question, I never expected to find myself actually walking alongside young lionesses as they hunt, explore, and goof around with each other in open terrain! But this program, which turns out to be a conservation program to restore the much-reduced lion population to Zimbabwe,...More

Great experience and very informative staff. In addition to learning about the lions and their behaviors, I also learned about the surrounding animals, their tracks, and their scat. Really educational! Prior to arriving, customer service was fantastic. Quick to respond and very friendly. Patience was...More

Be very careful about this attraction. Instead of walk with lions, as it is shown on all videos, we end up walking with cubs that were couple of months old and size of an average dog. Nothing you couldn't do in numerous wildlife orphanages all...More

Without hesitation, this was the best excursion that we went on in Victoria falls. We went during April, low season, and there was only 7 people total on the walk. We got plenty of time with the lions. The guides were excellent, and took multiple...More

GENERAL: I just got back from the lion encounter. The guides were wonderful (and took a bunch of great photos with each of our cameras when it was our turn to walk with the lions) and I felt extremely safe the entire time. THE VIDEO:...More

We spent two weeks at Lion Encounter working with the lions every day. For me it was a dream come true. The lions were amazing. We walked them, fed them, prepared their food, cleaned their cages, etc. We also came to love all the local...More

The entrance fee is $150 for individuals. I think there is no group discount. You should check website. And it is on Zimbabwean side.
