Very beautiful place to visit in Phan Thiet, Buddha statue here is the biggest one in Asia. on the way to come here, many strange things symbol for Viet Nam's countryside: dragon trees, birds, monkeys, etc... Climbing up Takou Mountain, beside looking at the beauty of forests and bowing to Buddha, visitors can also contemplate the giant "Sakyamuni statue entering... More

A quiet trip to break from the regular bustle - It is a nice drive through the countryside from Mui Ne to get there – The cable car may be a bit scary for those not comfortable with heights – I am usually not to bad but the swaying had me gripping onto my seat. Up the top it is... More

The ride from the phan thiet hotels is a pleasant 45 minutes through the countryside and dragon fruit plantations. The site is well organized and the entry ticket buys you... More

A cable car takes you up the mountain and you still have a few hundred steps to walk. So you need a reasonable fitness level or just rest when you are tired. But it is so worth the climb when you get to the top. The reclining Buddha is a sight to behold. I can't imagine the effort that went... More

We did this independently, but it might be better to go as part of an organised trip, as our driver wasn't sure where he was going and by the time we arrived we had to really hoof it. The last cable car returns at 5pm and we managed to just get the last one up. The statue is amazing and... More

I was there in 2011 and the temple was under construction.....don't know if you can visit... More
