Ba Na Hills
About
This theme park is a popular day trip from the coastal city of Da Nang, about a 45-minute drive. Start with a fantastic cable car ride, catching a brilliant sunset if you arrive here late afternoon. Once you’ve made your ascent, cross the Golden Bridge, held aloft by a giant pair of hands. There are many other attractions here—don’t miss the Linh Ung Pagoda and the giant Buddha statue. Check the weather forecast before booking your tickets, as even if conditions are relatively mild in Da Nang, it can be wet, windy, and foggy at the top in the colder months. – Tripadvisor

The Big day out in Ba Na hills from Da Nang
We had a fabulous time on a trip to Ba Na hills with a company tour operator, it was all excellent including the cable cars , Golden Bridge with the hands, a fabulous meal in the buffet style restaurant, then a beautiful show at the theatre in the beautiful French village at the top. Lots of different entertainments, a film, and a fabulous day! We loved it. The price was around £50 per person but was excellent and included pick up and drop off and a rode in a very comfortable vehicle.

    Good experience
The cable car ride was just great. The best I liked about the hills was the golden bridge. I also marvelled at the various things they had created on these hills, the effort it must have taken....the French village, the gardens, the fountains, the rides and many others. Please note that it is very crowded and the queue to get into the cable car is loooong, depending on the time of day you visit. Although there is plenty to do there especially if you are with your family, personally I was ok with just half a day.

    Gem of a place
Absolute gem of a place, takes you to nature, Disney, France, mall and spiritual experience at the same time. Not to forget the worlds longest cable car ride. Everything is greatness about this place, the golden bridge, the pagodas, the gardens, the French village, the fantasy park and the newly opened lunar castle and there is more construction ongoing. Go early in the morn as there is lots to do, book a cab via grab or klook and head out. Tickets are pricey but worth it, purchased via klook with a QR code which meant no waiting in lines. Food options are plenty.

    Great Day Out
Got a small discount by booking on Klook (which also meant a QR code entry). The cable car system/map is a bit confusing but it's an awesome ride with spectacular views - a lot to do up at the top of the mountain with free rides (the line for the toboggans was too long though). Veggie food at Arapang was great. The gardens were nice and a lot of free amusements for the children. Whilst not cheap, would highly recommend BA NA Hills.

If you are looking for a destination that combines adventure, culture, natural splendor, and spectacular clean this is an absolute must-visit. Just riding the cable car from the bottom to the top of the hill is worth of a visit. Prepare to be captivated, enchanted, and inspired by this magical destination. Let’s go 🤗

    Great theme park
Really enjoyed our trip today. All the street were friendly and helpful. Very unique experience and sights. Would come back again in a few years to see the new attractions currently being built. Would recommend staying overnight as night time was beautiful also. Shout out to Ronan Vu, he was amazing helping us with checking out and getting out transport back home. Thank you to ask the Ba Na hills staff as well making this a memorable experience.

Ba Na Hill tour in small group.
It was quite a big area with many sceneries for photographs picture to be taken for memory. It were be better to visit there during on weekdays should be less crowded and easy to walk around the place. There was a dacing performance might be only on weekend. The weather was good hot sunny day when I was there on 18th June 2023.

    The Vietnamese Disneyland
If you are willing to spend the 50$ entrance fee plus transport, you will see how locals get their Disneyland experience with a Europe themed park. Expect queues at least in the weekend. It's mostly about live performances, restaurants, and shops, but construction continues. Do not buy an entrance-plus-meal combo, just go to the area and choose your preference on site from dozens of restaurants. Top attraction is the Golden Bridge which appears to be supported by two hands. At the top of the hill there is a quiet area with religious buildings. On the way up/down, the gondolas provide a beautiful view of the surrounding forest from above, accompanied by background music and bird song from loudspeakers. The temperature is lower than at the sea level, which is a welcome repose on hot days.

I'm unsure were to start. My mum and I left very confused, kind of like Shrek and Donkey when they finished listening to the Dulock song. With such incredible architecture and ideology, it is really superficial. Empty castles, weird statues, strange entertainment. There are no maps or signs to direct you to food outlets, rides, cable cars. It almost seems unfinished and slapped together.

The bridge was good to see, but it was stinking hot and squishy with hundreds of other tourists trying to snap their Instagram pictures.

I could NOT justify spending $50 AUD on the "theme park", but the cable car ride was truly spectacular.

Amazing place to visit. Possibly the weirdest place we've been to. Cable cars are enough to make the trip worth a visit! The air conditioned indoor "fairground" with soft play a nice respite for the kids (two softplays one for under 110cm, and one for 110 to 150cm). Bridge is breathtaking. Leave time for that level too. We did top level first as it appears most tour groups do bridge first so wanted to avoid crowds.

I had a sightseeing trip to Ba Na hills on April 7, all my experiences here were very good from the scenery to the people, the staff were very enthusiastic and friendly in giving instructions, the scenery was great. It was so great, however, when I entered the game area on the 4th floor, I went to watch a game that was throwing balls at the map, everything was still very normal until I was about to leave. I met a male employee who came later. He challenged us to stop and 'let's see' (very bossy and challenging attitude). But we didn't stop and then turned around and saw these two employees high-fiving each other to show their joy (although we were very uncomfortable with the attitudes and actions of these two employees, we couldn't deny it. We admit that Ba Na is very wonderful in our hearts). Everyone should come to experience and feel.

We were staying in Hoi An and had a free day to fill so thought we would go and see the famous bridge of hands at the Ba Na Hills. However, when we got there it became clear very quickly that it is a resort (Sunworld) which is a cross between a really awful Disney/Jurassic World meets The Prisoner (ask your parents). It feels quite sinister with the classic background mood music pumped out everywhere, uniformed staff positioned at strategic points waving hello/goodbye, cleaning staff moving in groups like stormtroopers and some really dodgy street entertainment (the mermaid was quite scary). The site proper is reached by a 20 min cable car and once on the first hill top you can access the Bridge of Hands, which is rammed with Japanese/Chinese tourists clambering to get the perfect insta pic! After that all you can do is roam from zone to zone via more cable cars looking at stuff and pretty rubbish stuff at that as there appears to be little interactivity. The massive Cinderella toilet roll cozy has to be seen to be believed (ask your gran!). Access to some parts costs more and after paying £51.00 for the pleasure of getting in we declined. We didn’t go to the theme park bit although reading other reviews we didn’t miss anything. Overall, it is not worth the trip just to see the bridge or go up the cable car. It seems to lack purpose and I can only offer my sympathy to the people trundling suitcases into their hotel! This place just seems so out of place in a beautiful country with its own identity and culture, it really doesn’t need to do cheese!

All about the Golden Bridge (which was crowded with all the selfie-takers. The rest was a poor version of Disney. Take a private car because you will probably want to leave earlier than if you took a tour bus.

Established in 1919, Ba Na Hill is a colonial French hill station. It has the world's longest single-wire cable car system and a French village is located at 1,487 metres above sea level. The panorama view from such a height is definitely worth the trip! The temperature of this place is cool and the average temperature in the summer is only about 18 degrees, making it a hot favourite for both tourists and the locals.

Journey from danang is about 45 min. Purchased the tickets online so that saved us abit of time. Queue for cable car is long but fast in the morning.
Golden bridge (hand) is a sight but pretty crowded. French village wise, has alot of food options so there isn't a need to opt for the buffet options. Very crowded in mid-day. One thing i really hate about the place is the smoking at french village. People are just smoking everywhere.
Another tip for family with young children, strollers(especially those with small wheels) might not work well there.

This place is amazing in many ways.

There are multiple cable cars and trams / trains transferring you around the mountain to view the attractions.

We came to see the golden bridge and found an amazingly extravagant fairy tale as I can only describe as a mash up of Universal studios (tm), Disney (tm) and Europe’s famous buildings with an Asian flair.

Gardens and grounds were beautiful and street performers fun and enjoyed interacting with the crowd.

Kids had fun exploring and trying to understand what it all meant :)

The Mango Holic is a must for the ice cream or asmoothie.

Staff are fun and always waving - at one point I thought one was an animatronic.

Thanks to your staff for a fun day out.

I went because of the golden hand bridge and I regret going here. As I booked the ticket and bus to/return through Klook, so I was basically stuck here for the whole day. The cable car ride to the top and back down was the highlight. Basically a medieval european city...with too much people, I think this place would be a fun place for families with KIDS. But the majority of people I saw were adults, posing and taking photos and selfies of themselves and blocking your way...food is also overprice.
