This cooking course was the best thing we could do here in Hoi An. First we went to the market and learned about the food we were about to made. We also got to taste many fruits and everything was so good! When we came to the camp (with boat) we made 4 dishes. Don't eat a big breakfast before... More

Together with a friend I booked this cooking class and luckily we made the right decision. It was a very familial atmosphere, we were a small group and Thom, the guide showed and explained us everything we wanted to know. By boat we were brought to the morning market and could discover every food they had (the market tour is... More

We enjoyed a 25 min boat ride to another island of Hoi An. Once to the island a short walk to our outdoor cooking class in the back of a home to owners and there 92 year grandma. We were greeted with a passion drink and a short history of this island. Grandma come out briefly to show us how... More

After comparing a few different classes, we decided on this one because of the small group sizes and location out of the city. We had a fantastic time with our guide/teacher and came back with not only some new recipes, but knowledge about Vietnam's island life that can only be gained from spending time with those who live it. Highly... More

We did the morning cooking class with the market tour. We did the tour with Phin who was extremely nice and enthusiastic. I strongly recommend you this tour. You will do the cooking on the remote island where you will find only local people and some cycling tour passing through.

I can not recommend this class enough. Our tour guide spoke very clear English and explained what our entire day consisted of, and they are super flexible. She made a seperate trip for these two travellers that didn't want to see the markets before the class. The markets were great, she gave us so much fruit to taste yumm. Our... More

We went on the morning cooking class and afternoon bicycle tour today. Such a great day! We started at the markets and our guide explained all the different types of food available, we then took a 35min boat ride to an adorable outdoor cooking classroom set on an island village. The food was AMAZING, and the staff all super friendly... More

There is a couple of options we decided on the market tour and cooking class. You take a boat to the markets then a boat to her grandmas village where the class is held. Her grandmother is 92 years old and showed us how rice milk is made!! A fantastic cooking class and a must do in Hoi An!

Really great possibility to get to know the Vietnamese kitchen and learn how to prepare the food. Definitely would recommend to go to the market before the cooking lessons. The place is amazing. Lessons take place outside on a small island in groups of 6- 10 people.
