I give this place 2 stars as one of my dresses turned out lovely! The remaining 2 dresses along with the communication and delivery process justify the 2 stars.
First of all, I suggest you don’t get anything made in Hoi An unless it is a suit or gown. I found similar items to the dresses I ordered on ASOS and other websites for less than what I paid!
To start I was approached by, what seemed to be, a lovely local on the street. She helped me with my bike stand and we started chatting. She proceeded to tell me about her “mothers” dress shop nearby and that they could do a good price for me. I go with her to have a look at the shop as I was interested in getting dresses made but did not want to pay the high price that BeBe quoted me. The ladies in the shop were very helpful. They assisted me in picking 3 designs by looking through some catalogues. I then chose the material and we negotiated a good price. They told me to come back at 4pm the following day. As soon as I paid and left, I instantly regretted my decision and felt like something wasn’t right!
The next day I went back at 4pm and the shop was closed!!! I could not believe it! Another lady assisted me and called the shop to find out where my dresses were. I spoke with the lady who told me that they would come to my hotel at 6:30pm. I get to my hotel and no sign of them. With the help of our receptionist she rings to find out where they are. They tell her they are only 15 minutes away. 30 minute pass and no sign! I was thinking to myself they aren’t coming! Finally after 1 hour, a lady turns up with my dresses in a plastic bag! I try them on - 1 is lovely, the other 2 are way too big and we arrange to have them taken in. The following day, I phone to ask when I can expect my dresses as we are leaving that evening. They tell me they will deliver them all altered at 1pm. I go back at 2pm to try them on and they are exactly the same as before! Nothing has been altered and they are unwearable! I could not contact them to discuss and considering we were leaving in 3 hours, I knew there was no chance of it being fixed in time. Such a waste of time and money!

I cannot recommend Shop 45 highly enough. The girls are so helpful, their English communication is excellent. They have an extensive selection of fabrics & designs to choose from. The listen carefully to what you require. I went with several photos of dresses, shirt & shorts.The clothes they produced in less than 24 hours were exemplary quality. I am just so happy with the finished garments & the cost was very reasonable.

We stumbled upon Shop No. 52 and met Anh. We were skeptical at first but Anh delivered everything with great quality with a 24 hr turn around. We loved her work so much we ordered more. Anh goes above and beyond will alter garments for the perfect fit and make sure you have your clothes on time and to your satisfaction. For us this included running to our hotel in Da Nang a couple of times. Trust Anh with your clothing needs, shop No. 52 won’t disappoint.

Worst experience for us. We were lured in to Diep cloth shop number ten. Our first day in Hoi An and we hadn’t done any research! I wanted two dresses copied that was all and we ended up ordering five dresses and a three piece suit! Firstly to her credit the main lady really tried to make us happy but she is NOT the tailor. We were made to feel good by being given water and coffee and all the ladies around the shop were full of smiles. It went downhill from here. The quality of the material and stitching is horrendous. Cheap and extremely nasty and we were so not happy. We ended up having three fittings what a waste of time on holiday and sill were so not happy. We were made to feel like criminals. The ladies all talking about us in Vietnamese. My dresses were awful. Inside terrible stitching and seams. Poor quality materials. My husbands suit was so bad and we kept saying NO we don’t want it but in the end your are made to feel you have to pay. We paid a fortune even though she discounted and we walked out very upset. The smiles changed as soon as we started to complain and it got very awkward. We ended up giving the suit and all the crap dresses to staff at our hotel. I hate to give a business a bad review but compared too all the many tailors in Hoi An this shop at number ten I would avoid at all costs. It saddened my experience of the beautiful Hoi An and I have ended up with no lovely new clothes. Friends from the hotel went to Yaly Couture and spent the same amount as us and their dresses and suit was amazing!! We are in our late 50s and know the difference between good quality and stitching. We are nice normal people who really feel like we were conned into believing the quality and items would be superb! AVOID

My husband and I discovered Ti Ti Tailor at stall #38 after roaming around the cloth market, dodging pushy salespeople. Luo (the shop owner) was not obnoxious and had a great selection of fabric. We initially had her make some novelty shirts for us and our niece & nephews. After I picked them up, I was so impressed, I ordered a fun cotton jumpsuit. After the 1st fitting, there were a few adjustments which took Luo & her sister a few hours to fix and the final suit was ready that afternoon. I was super impressed with the fit & finish. Originally, I’d ordered the jumpsuit as a fun piece to wear around town but it ended up so nice, I can wear it to work! If you’re looking for a sweet, easy tailor experience, I highly recommend Ti Ti @ #38!

Number 14; corner of cloth market, pretty good workmanship, polite and not too pushy. First time we used this tailor/ outlet. Picked up several articles only yesterday, so not tested yet, but seem ok.
Button holes needed to be finished, one minor alteration, fixed on the spot. Sewing seems good. Staff have said that they washed the linen and silk prior to cutting, so fingers crossed!!
Shop around - prices vary hugely
Don’t feel compelled to buy or decide on the spot.
Go when it is cool, and give yourself plenty of time in case there is a problem.
Also other stall holders sell ready made clothes, shoes, and bags etc upstairs.

Tran was so friendly and helpful. She designed a pair of shoes exactly as I wanted, measuring my feet carefully so the shoe was perfect the first fitting. She communicated well, and had the shoes ready for me the following evening. Her brother even repaired a pair of sandals that I had purchased in HCMC and the buckle had broken. She video called me on WhatsApp to show me the final product and let me know to come and collect. 10/10 recommend her store!

Do not recommend. They were really nice before I paid and before my first fitting, but then when I came back to try my clothes, they were not that nice and I felt like they got mad at me when I asked them to do small changes to the pieces. Then they said I had to come back in a few hours while they made the changes I asked for, but when I came back nothing were changed and I felt like they were angry at me so I almost didn't dare to ask for more changes. The next day I just collected my pieces without trying them because I didn't want anything more to do with them. The pieces did not turn out how I wanted them to.

SHOP 52 AT CLOTH MARKET - Our 4th trip to Hoi An, & keep going back to Shop 52 for the excellent quality product & service from Anh & all the girls. We once again could not fault the quality of product or price for tailor made items. Nothing is too much trouble, they'll do their upmost to provide the fabric/garment you want. Last trip Anh rode around town to source a particular colour of silk I wanted for a jacket for me for our daughter's wedding. She would not give up on her mission, and delivered in spades!

We were told by Diep:10 who invited us to her cloth market. The service was superb. Very friendly very patience- Tina looked after us. Originally buying a dress, we left with a dress for me, pair of trousers and shirt for husband, 2 skirts, 3 dresses for each child & a top. Great tailoring. Superb. You must visit here if you go to Hoi An.

Hi they have a lot of different materials. If they don't have the one you're looking for, they take you around to all the different cloth shops in the immediate area and you can choose whatever you want and they make it!
