Not your typical tourist spot. You actually can do so much here. You learn how the vegetables are farmed. We walked through the garden area and had a wonderful lunch that began with a foot massage and then a neck message. Of course it was followed by a delicious meal which included these veggies! We didn't do the "full on" village experience and wish we had had the time.

We spent more than a couple of hours exploring this amazing horticultural facility, enjoying a cooking lesson and having lunch. There is much to see and do and to learn. I would highly recommend any visitor in the area to take a tour - with a guide. It's worth the time spent.

We visited the herb village and started our experience with a great foot massage. This was followed by cooking classes where we made Tam Huu (spring rolls) as well as a local pancake. Then we had to cook them dressed in aprons and hats with the flaming woks providing background colour. Lunch was delicious. Worthwhile activity

Experience the organic fields near Hoi An, and discover the farming secrets which produces the highest quality vegetables and herbs by the local Vietnamese farmers. The soil here is rich, and farmers use the algae from the lagoon in Tra Que as fertilizer, which is the only source of this precious algae. The fields are perfectly laid out, well maintained and lovely. We witnessed the manual watering of plants by use of a yoke with two watering cans balanced on the farmer's shoulders, while tipping from side-to-side to empty the contents and distribute the water. Members of our tour attempted this chore, but found it too difficult to lift and balance the watering cans. We participated in a cooking demonstration, followed by feasting on our delicious endeavors at a restaurant near the edge of the fields. A very memorable and enjoyable experience!

We stopped here for lunch and had a wonderful meal. There was also an very entertaining cooking demonstration and class that was a lot of fun. The local pancakes that were prepared were part of the lunch and very tasty. We were also given the opportunity to walk through the gardens but because it was pouring rain at the time, we didn't take advantage of this. The gardens did look really lush and beautiful nonetheless.

We visited the organic farm and were treated to a local feast. We went with the set menu and the number of dishes left us full and satisfied, plus it was delicious. The family running the farm and restaurant are lovely and they also have cooking classes on site. We would visit again if we’re ever back in Hoi An.

We took our 4 year old son to do the farmer experience, to get a sense of what life is like for local people. It was really fantastic- the buffalo ride, planting vegetables, and the lunch was delicious. Our guide Lena was delightful. It’s a very picturesque, relaxing experience, highly recommend

Went to visit an "organic" village and have lunch with a cooking lesson in one of the places that offer such experiences in the area. The entire scene looked staged with "farmers" playing a part in a Hollywood movie. I just didn't care for it. Lunch was also quite mediocre.
