I liked that as all of the madrasas in Registan. That one is the one with a lot of gold paint inside as I remember.

This Madrasah is in my opinion the best of the three of the Rageston complex and the reason is the great gold leaf mosque inside the Madrasah. Really spectacular

Tillya Kori Madresah is stunning for its combination of beauties. -The exterior has such beautiful tile work face, minarets, and entry portal (so admirable in all 3 of the Registan's treasures). -TKM also has a peaceful courtyard with more tilework on the interior walls, and...More

Like all the madrasa they now have souvenir stalls. The panels of tiles are wonderful colourful. There is still a buzz about the place but not people learning trades as before

A must as are all the surrounding madrasas. Beautiful, super-ornate and totally great. Finally one understands and sees the extent of opulence and artistry of ancient inhabitants.

The whole place is a pure ensemble of architecture and culture history. No questions about it, Samarkand is one of Must Visit Places while in Uzbekistan.

This is the largest and the most important madrasah of Registan Square. Its paintings and stalactites seem drawn by PC on the internal walls. 1 hour is sufficient to visit it (including the courtyard, full of flowers during the nice seasons, beyond the main entrance).

Samarkand is a place echoing from history and visiting it today is still an awe inspiring experience well worth undertaking. At the Regestan in Samarkand there are three Madrassahs in close proximity each with their own exquisite wonderful majolica tiling which differentiates each from the...More

If you visit Rajistan Square, you will want to visit this place as it's one of three main buildings the comprises Registan Square. It has a beautiful golden mosque which is the key highlight. Be sure to check it out.
